Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of “de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum” (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, “Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..”, comes from a line in section 1.10.32.
The standard chunk of Lorem Ipsum used since the 1500s is reproduced below for those interested. Sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 from “de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum” by Cicero are also reproduced in their exact original form, accompanied by English versions from the 1914 translation by H. Rackham.

The Mahakashaya are one of the consept explained by Acharya Charak mentioned under Shad Virechana Shatashriteeya Adhyaya. This chapterexplain five hundred drugs by using which Kashayas can be prepared and are gruped in to 50 groups of 10 drugs each. Among them Bhedniya dashemani is the fourth group.
Mahakashayas serves both external and internal cleaning. There are some Mahakashaya which are add on for formulation used Shodhana Chikitsa to fortify the action of Shodhana Like Vamanopag Mahakashaya and Virechnopag Mahakashaya and their ingredients have therapeutic action of Vamana and Virechana respectively. Bhedniya means the action by which solid or liquid purisha and mala i.e., baddha mala or abadha mala (anus). Four dissimilar types of Virechan karma are being mentioned by Sharngdhara, that is Anulomana, Sramsana, Bhedana and Rechana.
The Mahakashaya consists of ten drugs which are used for purification, to treat the chronic disease and for purgation purpose an various disorders. Thease ten drugs possess different Rasa, Guna, Veerya, and Vipaka but there action is Bhedana Karma on the body. The drugs used in Bhedniya Mahakashayafor purgation grows in different climatic condition with different habitat, and the parts used for Bhedniya Karma are also different like roots, latex, Bark etc.
